Aleister Crowley

Aleister Crowley was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, novelist, and mountaineer. As the founder of the religion of Thelema in the early 20th century, he identified as its prophet and authored the Libri of Thelema. A prolific writer throughout his life, he also engaged in painting, chess, and astrology, leaving behind a diverse body of work that explored his philosophical and mystical interests.
