Andrea Palladio

Andrea Palladio was an Italian Renaissance architect active in the Venetian Republic. Influenced by Roman and Greek architecture, particularly the work of Vitruvius, he is recognized for his designs of churches, palaces, and villas. His architectural theories were documented in his influential treatise, The Four Books of Architecture, which solidified his legacy as a significant figure in the history of design.
