Andrew Lang

Andrew Lang (1844–1912) was a Scottish poet, novelist, literary critic, and anthropologist. He is best known for his extensive work as a collector of folk and fairy tales, though his career also spanned journalism, history, and children's literature. The University of St Andrews honors his legacy through the annual Andrew Lang lectures.
