Asja Schubert

Franz Peter Schubert was an Austrian composer of the late Classical and early Romantic eras. Despite a short life, he was immensely prolific, producing an oeuvre of more than 1,000 works including over 600 Lieder, seven complete symphonies, sacred music, operas, and extensive chamber and piano compositions. His notable works include the song cycles Die schöne Müllerin and Winterreise, the Trout Quintet, and the Symphony No. 8 in B minor.
