Billy Monk

William John Monk was a South African photographer best known for his documentation of a Cape Town nightclub between 1967 and 1969. His work captures the social atmosphere of the city during the apartheid era. In 2012, a posthumous collection of his images was published under the title Billy Monk: Nightclub Photographs.
