Christopher Dresser

Christopher Dresser (1834–1904) was a British designer, botanist, and writer recognized as one of the first independent professional designers of the industrial era. A pivotal figure in the Aesthetic Movement, he contributed significantly to the Anglo-Japanese style. His work and design theories exerted a lasting international influence on the development of modern design.
