Christopher Herwig

Christopher Herwig is a Canadian photographer and filmmaker recognized for his documentation of vernacular architecture. Over the course of 15 years, he traveled extensively throughout the former Soviet Union to photograph hundreds of unique, sculptural bus stop shelters created by local artists and builders. His work focuses on the intersection of travel and documentary photography.
