Daniel Pick

Daniel Pick is a British historian, psychoanalyst, and university teacher. Between 2014 and 2021, he led a research group at Birkbeck focused on the history of human sciences and psychoanalysis during the Cold War. Supported by a Wellcome Trust senior Investigator grant, his work examined the cultural and clinical history of brainwashing and the 'psy' professions from 1950 to 1990.
