Geoffrey Parker

Noel Geoffrey Parker is a British historian born in 1943 who specializes in the history of Western Europe, Spain, and early modern warfare. He holds degrees from Cambridge University and has held academic positions at the University of Illinois, St. Andrews, Yale, and The Ohio State University. He is widely recognized for his 1988 work, The Military Revolution: Military Innovation and the Rise of the West, 1500–1800.
