Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was an American poet, educator, and writer associated with the Fireside Poets of New England. His notable original works include the poems Paul Revere's Ride, The Song of Hiawatha, and Evangeline. Additionally, he was the first American to complete a full translation of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.
