Jadwiga Staniszkis

Jadwiga Staniszkis (1942–2024) was a Polish sociologist, political scientist, and essayist. A dedicated university teacher, she focused her academic research on the fields of sociology, political sociology, and economic sociology. Throughout her career, she also contributed to public discourse as an active opinion journalist.
