John Boorman

Sir John Boorman is a British filmmaker born in 1933. Throughout his career, he has worked as a screenwriter, film producer, and director for both film and television. He is recognized for directing numerous feature films, including Point Blank, Deliverance, Excalibur, Hope and Glory, and The General.
