John Elderfield

John Elderfield is an American art historian and curator born in 1943. He served as the Chief Curator of Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York from 2003 to 2008. Later, he held the position of Allen R. Adler Distinguished Curator at the Princeton University Art Museum and served as a lecturer in the Department of Art and Archaeology from 2012 to 2019.
