Kevin Patterson

Kevin Patterson is a Canadian medical doctor and writer born in 1964. He is the author of the short story collection Country of Cold, which received the Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize in 2003. His 2008 work, Outside the Wire: The War in Afghanistan in the Words of its Participants, compiles first-hand accounts from soldiers, medical professionals, and aid workers involved in the conflict.
