Kristine Stiles

Kristine Stiles is an art historian, curator, and artist serving as the France Family Distinguished Professor at Duke University. Her scholarship focuses on global contemporary art, performance, feminism, and the intersection of trauma and destruction in art. She has held teaching positions at the University of Bucharest and Venice International University, and her extensive body of work includes the 2016 publication Concerning Consequences: Studies in Art, Destruction, and Trauma.
