Louwrien Wijers

Louwrien Wijers is a Dutch artist and writer based in Ferwert. Associated with the Fluxus movement, she worked closely with Joseph Beuys from 1968 to 1986 and views both writing and speaking as forms of sculpture. Since 1965, she has contributed art criticism to numerous international publications and began producing her own material and mental sculptures in 1970.
