Martin J. Sherwin

Martin J. Sherwin (1937–2021) was an American historian whose scholarship focused on the history of nuclear weapons and proliferation. He held faculty positions at Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of California, Berkeley. As the Walter S. Dickson Professor of English and American History at Tufts University, he founded the Nuclear Age History and Humanities Center.
