Nancy J. Chodorow

Nancy J. Chodorow was an American sociologist, psychoanalyst, and academic. Her career included teaching positions at Wellesley College, the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the University of California, Berkeley, where she served as a professor of sociology and clinical psychology. Following her tenure at Berkeley, she taught psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and the Cambridge Health Alliance.
