Thomas Kellein

Thomas Kellein (1955–2025) was a German art historian, author, and curator. He held several prominent leadership roles, serving as the Director of Kunsthalle Basel from 1988 to 1995 and the Kunsthalle Bielefeld from 1996 to 2010. Additionally, he directed the Chinati Foundation between 2011 and 2012, contributing extensively to the field of art history and exhibition curation throughout his career.
