Valerie Wilmer

Valerie Wilmer is a British photographer and writer born in 1941. She specializes in documenting jazz, blues, gospel, and African-Caribbean music and culture. Her notable publications include the books Jazz People, As Serious As Your Life, and her autobiography, Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This: My Life in the Jazz World.
