In Kranky Klaus, a film about Krampus rituals in Austria, he accompanies the legendary demons on their nightmarish pre-Christmas tour, frightening little children. His project JO tackles the myth of Joan of Arc. From crispy fried potatoes, called "Joan of Arc-style fries" in his home San Fernando Valley, Cameron's film leads the viewer through Paris, where right-wing radicals hold a rally around a golden statue of Joan of Arc every year, to an eating contest in Coney Island, where the Japanese winner devoured 54 hot dogs in only 12 minutes. "We are living in the apocalypse now."
